Santa And Grandfather Frost Meet For Bilateral Talks

27 December 2005 -- An Estonian official says Santa Claus and his Russian counterpart Grandfather Frost will meet tomorrow along the two nations' border for bilateral talks on trade and travel.

Liis Plakk, spokeswoman for the Estonian Tax and Customs Department, said today that Claus and Frost will meet on the Friendship Bridge in Narva on the Estonia-Russian border, about 215 kilometers outside Estonia's capital Tallinn.


Claus and Frost are due to give speeches before sitting down for dinner.


Plakk says the meeting has been arranged as a sign of goodwill between Estonian and Russian customs authorities.
