Ingushetian Health Minister Survives Attack

June 1, 2006 - The health minister of the southern Russian republic of Ingushetia today survived an attack by unknown gunmen.


The Russian news agency Interfax reports that the car carrying Magomed Aliskhanov came under fire at midday in Ingushetia's capital, Nazran.


His attackers escaped from the scene.
