Iraq Reconciliation Conference Postponed

June 14, 2006 -- The secretary-general of the Arab League said a conference to foster national reconciliation in Iraq has been postponed until August. He did not say why the timing had been changed.

The conference, which was to have been held on June 22, had already been postponed due to the security situation in Iraq.
