July 27, 2006 -- A U.S. envoy says Serbian officials had assured him they are serious about capturing fugitive war crimes suspect Ratko Mladic.
Clint Williamson, the U.S. ambassador-at-large for war crimes issues, said officials he met in Belgrade briefed him on their latest plan to catch the former Bosnian Serb commander, who is wanted for genocide and war crimes by a UN tribunal based in The Hague.
