Turkmenistan Celebrates President's Book Of Moral Guidance

The "Rukhnama," the spiritual tome penned by President Saparmurat Niyazov (ITAR-TASS)

September 12, 2006 – The Turkmen government and parliament today celebrated the fifth anniversary of the publication of President Saparmurat Niyazov's book of moral and spiritual guidance, the "Rukhnama," with a gala concert.


The audience reportedly included foreign diplomats.


The anniversary was also marked by the opening of a book fair and an academic conference devoted to the "Rukhnama" in the Turkmen capital, Ashgabat.
