In an interview with RFE/RL's Kyrgyz Service, State Secretary Adakhan Madumarov said the state commission that investigated the in would notify the prosecutor-general's office of its conclusions.

Madumarov did not elaborate on the findings of the probe.

Omurbek Tekebaev, a leader of the For Reforms opposition movement and a former parliament speaker, was arrested at Warsaw airport on September 6 after Polish border police found heroin in his luggage.

A Polish court eventually ordered his release, saying the drugs had probably been planted.

The Kyrgyz opposition suspects President Bakiev's younger brother, Janysh, who at the time was deputy chairman of the National Security Service, of being involved in the incident.
