Iraqi Premier Urges Radical Bloc To Return To Cabinet

November 30, 2006 -- Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki today called on the political bloc of the radical Shi'ite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr to end its boycott of parliament and the government.

The bloc suspended its participation in Iraq's government on November 29 in protest at a meeting between al-Maliki and U.S. President George W. Bush in Jordan.
