January 3, 2007 -- Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad says Iran will soon start production of nuclear fuel for industrial use.
Ahmadinejad, in a speech in the Western province of Khuzestan today, added that Iran would not give in to pressure over its nuclear program.
The UN Security Council last month approved limited sanctions on Iran over its refusal to halt uranium enrichment. Iran says its nuclear program is peaceful, but Western countries suspect it of trying to develop nuclear weapons.
