The three countries' foreign ministers made the announcement today following talks in New Delhi aimed at boosting trade, energy and economic cooperation.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the talks with his Indian and Chinese counterparts, Pranab Mukherjee and Li Zhaoxing, covered the crisis in the Middle East, the situation in Iraq, the Iranian nuclear issue, and the accord reached on February 13 under which North Korea will curb its nuclear activities.

The ministers said in a statement that an economic forum bringing together business people from the three countries will be held by September 2007.

The meeting is the second of its kind. The first was held in Vladivostok, Russia, in 2005.
