Georgian President Travels To Kazakhstan

March 5, 2007 (RFE/RL) -- Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili is expected in Kazakhstan today for talks on cooperation in transport, trade, and energy, RFE/RL's Georgian Service reported.

During his visit, Saakashvili is scheduled to meet with his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbaev and Prime Minister Karim Masimov.


Saakashvili is due to leave Kazakhstan for Japan on March 6.
