Russia-Iran Talks Fail To Resolve Bushehr Dispute

March 9, 2007 -- Three days of talks in Moscow between Russia and Iran have failed to resolve a dispute over delays in the construction of Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant.

Russia says construction has been delayed due to late payments. Iran denies that it has missed payments.


The talks are due to resume next week in Tehran. The United States is pressuring Russia to stop building the plant.
