May 17, 2007 -- Afghanistan's information and culture minister was injured today when a suicide bomber targeted a car in which he was traveling in the southern city of Kandahar.

Three civilians were killed in the attack. Kandahar Province Governor Asadullah Khalid said the bomber rammed a car full of explosives into the vehicle.
