Kabul Confirms Four Afghan Hostages Released By Taliban

KABUL, June 7, 2007 (RFE/RL) -- The Afghan government has confirmed
that the Taliban has released four Afghan hostages in exchange for the
body of slain Taliban commander Mullah Dadullah, RFE/RL's Radio Free Afghanistan reported.
Afghan Health Minister Mohammad Amin Fatemi told RFE/RL today that the four had returned to their families in Kandahar.
The four medical workers, three nurses and a driver, were seized in March.
Dadullah was killed by U.S.-led forces in May.
