Iran's Nuclear Negotiator To Meet With Solana Saturday

June 19, 2007 -- Iran's top nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani and European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana will meet in Portugal on June 23, according to Iranian state TV and the Mehr news agency.

The meeting will again focus on Iran's nuclear development program. The EU has led attempts to convince Iran to suspend its nuclear program, so far with little success.

Iran has recently defied UN Security Council demands for a suspension of uranium enrichment.
