At Least 15 Killed In Iraq Bombings


Bomb attacks in central Iraq and Baghdad have killed at least 15 people.

The first attack, in Central Iraq, occured on the main road from Abu Ghraib to Fallujah.

Local police official Omar Zawbai said two bombs, one on each side of the road, hit a truck carrying construction workers.

The second attack occured in Baghdad, where three bombs exploded in the Baab al-Sharqi area of central Baghdad, killing seven people.

Violence has declined in Iraq since its peak in 2006 and 2007, but attacks remain common.

A total of 258 people were killed in October, according to official figures.
