MONDAY, February 4:

Afghanistan/Pakistan/UK: Afghan President Hamid Karzai, Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, and British Prime Minister David Cameron hold trilateral meeting in London.

Georgia/Russia: A Georgian delegation travels to Moscow to discuss reviving trade links with Russia.

Serbia/Turkey: Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic visits Ankara and Istanbul (to February 5).

Turkey/Central Europe: Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan visits Prague, Bratislava, and Budapest (to February 6).

WHO: World Cancer Day.


TUESDAY, February 5:

EU/Mali: The European Union hosts a ministerial meeting on the situation in Mali.

Iran/Egypt: Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad visits Cairo to attend an Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting (to February 7).

U.S./Bosnia-Herzegovina: Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies hosts a discussion entitled "Status of Women In Bosnia and Herzegovina and How To Improve It."

World: Safer Internet Day 2013.


WEDNESDAY, February 6:

Afghanistan: Baku hosts a meeting of senior officials of the Istanbul process on stabilizing the situation in Afghanistan.

Azerbaijan/EU: EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Philippe Lefort visits Baku.

Croatia/Azerbaijan: Croatian Defense Minister Ante Kotromanovic visits Baku to discuss with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Safar Abiyev, military cooperation between the two countries (to February 8).

Serbia/Kosovo: Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic is scheduled to meet his Kosovo counterpart, Atifete Jahjaga, in Brussels.

Ukraine/Lithuania: Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych pays an official visit to Vilnius.

U.S./Russia: Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies hosts a discussion titled “The Next Generation in Russia: Youth as an Agent for Change?”

THURSDAY, February 7:

Bosnia-Herzegovina: The international arts festival Sarajevo Winter 2013 opens (to March 21).

Bosnia-Herzegovina: NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen makes an official visit to Sarajevo (to February 8).

EU: Brussels hosts the European Council meetings chaired by EU President Herman Van Rompuy (to February 8).

EU: EU Commission launches its proposals on cyber-security strategy.

EU/Pakistan: European Parliament is scheduled to discuss and vote on a report on the recent attacks on medical aid workers in Pakistan.

EU/Serbia/Kosovo: European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee votes on draft resolutions on Serbia and Kosovo at an extraordinary meeting in Strasbourg.

Ukraine: EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fuele is scheduled to address the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament.

U.S./Afghanistan: A group of youngsters from the Afghanistan National Institute of Music performs at the Kennedy Center in Washington.

World: The Berlin International Film Festival 2013 opens (to February 17).


FRIDAY, February 8:

Georgia: Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili is scheduled to deliver his annual report to parliament.

Russia: Robot designers from all over Russia attend the annual Robofest show in Moscow (to February 9).
