My impression of this bizarre cartoon, obviously ripping off the style of Family Guy (making it that much more odious), is an example of the "good Tsar, bad boyars" delusion that exists within Russia today.

The unnamed corrupt officials who appear in the cartoon are what the less intellectually endowed elements label the "6th column," that is a mythical, unnamed part of the Russian elite that steals in order to undermine Putin and weaken the country. Putin is always either ignorant of their exact identities, or unable to act for some reason (in reality, outside of cartoons). Of course you're not supposed to take this premise to its logical conclusion, i.e. Putin is incompetent.

Unfortunately this delusion seems quite widespread and it's one reason why you're not going to see major protests this year and in the foreseeable future. They'd rather pretend like their corrupt elite is working for America than face up to the fact that the problem is Putin and the elite is connected to him.

This video shows Putin's depravity. One wonders if indeed he is mentally unstable. As a result of Putin's constant anti West propaganda is it possible that the majority of Russian citizens have lost their common sense and are suffering from infantilism?
