Four Killed In Iraq Insurgent Attacks


Four people, including a 7-year-old boy, have been killed in two insurgent attacks in Iraq.

Police say gunmen attacked a checkpoint near the city of Samarra early in the morning, killing three Iraqi soldiers and wounding two.

In western Anbar Province, a roadside bomb went off as a security patrol passed through the city of Fallujah, killing the child.

Three police officers were reported injured in that attack.
