An Israeli worker has been killed when an explosive device was detonated at a site where Israel is building a border fence, Israeli media reported.
According to the reports, Israeli security forces shot and killed at least one militant.
It is not known if the militants crossed into Israel from Egypt or from the Gaza Strip.
An Israeli military spokesman confirmed there was an incident at the site, but gave no details.
