One Killed In Helicopter Crash In Russia's Kamchatka Region


At least one person was reportedly killed in a helicopter crash in Russia's Far East peninsula of Kamchatka.

Local police say a private chopper crashed near the village of Ivashka in Kamchatka's Karaga District.

Rescue workers are reportedly at the scene trying to find out the number of passengers who were onboard.

Preliminary reports say the helicopter belongs to a local fishery.

The aircraft is a U.S.-made Robinson helicopter. No further details are available.
