Reports from Pakistan's northwestern tribal belt say missiles fired from a U.S. drone on a vehicle and a house have killed five people.
Security officials said the missile strike took place in a village of troubled North Waziristan tribal district, near the Afghan border.
The identity of those killed was not immediately clear.
The United States has ramped up its drone attacks in Pakistan's northwestern border region in an attempt to kill key Taliban and Al-Qaeda figures.
