A U.S. drone killed at least four militants when it fired two missiles at a vehicle near the main town of North Waziristan, local officials have said.

The area in Pakistan's remote northwest near the Afghan border is a major Al-Qaeda and Taliban sanctuary.

There was no independent confirmation of the incident.

Journalists are not allowed in the area.

Do the "suspected militants" killed by this CIA "targeted assassinatiomn" include more 16-year-old kids? As, in Yemen, the CIA predator drones killed the 16-year-old son of American citizen Anwar Al-Awlaki, who was also recently killed by a CIA drone strike. Although Al Awlaki obviously expressed religious beliefs repugnant to many people, he was never charged with a crime or given a hearing in a US court. In fact, US State Dept. spokeswoman Victoria Nuland recentluy admitted that the Us didn't even have enough evidence against Al Awalaki to take away his US passport. But the CIA drone strike killed him anyway, also contributing to the chaos & anarchy in Yemen under Saleh. Two week later, Al Awlaki's 16 year old son was killed by another CIA drone strike; & US spoekspersons have admitted that not only did they have no suspicion of criminal guilt on Abdul-rahman Al Awlaki; but they didn't even know he was in the targeted vehicle, showing how easily innocent bystanders & random persons can be killed by the supposedly carefully targeted predator drones. The CIA "targeteed assassination" program is flagrantly criminal & immoral & a gross violation of international law & basic human rights. But the censorship & silencing imposed upon the international public by then refusal of the international press to investigate & report these cases is almost as bad as, for exmaple, the Russian censorship & silencing of FSB terror programs in the North Caucasus, & amounts to virtual complicity in this criminal & immoral program.

Please, RFERL! Tell us: Who was killed? When & why? And was there any plausible basis for the killing? Or was it simply random killing? Without the slightest reason or justification under international law? The international public has a right to know! And I, for one, want to know...
