At least one person has been killed and two others injured as a result of 20 bomb blasts that struck Pakistan's southern Sindh Province on May 2.

Police said the first bomb attack occurred at an ATM banking machine at the state-run National Bank of Pakistan in Hyderabad, some 140 kilometers northeast of the provincial capital Karachi.

Officials said the explosion was followed by 19 more blasts, mostly outside or near National Bank branches in the cities of Hyderababd, Naushahro Feroze, Dadu, Tando Mohammad Khan, Badin and Kotri.

Police said the person killed was a security guard.

Two other people received what were described as minor injuries.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
