Afghanistan - RFA Reporter Abducted

Radio Free Afghanistan (RFA) reporter Dawa Khan Meenapal was kidnapped by the Taliban on November 26 together with Azizullah Popal, a reporter from a local Kandahar station, Hewad TV. Both were released on November 30 as a result of coordinated efforts among the Journalists Union of Kandahar, tribal leaders, the RFA Kabul bureau and others.
