Reports say at least 120 people were killed have been killed in seemingly coordinated bombing and shooting attacks by Islamist militants in the northern Nigerian city of Kano.

Aid workers said dozens of bodies had been recovered from the streets, and hospital records seen by reporters said 120 corpses had been admitted.

That contradicts police statements that 7 people died in the attacks, which hit a total of eight locations on january 20, including police headquarters, three police stations, the headquarters of the secret services and the immigration head office.

Police have imposed a curfew in Kano, which has suffered from frequent attacks by the Islamist sect Boko Haram.

The same group claimed responsibility for a Christmas day bomb attack on a church outside the capital Ajuba which killed 37 people and wounded 57 more.

Boko Haram considers all who do not follow its strict ideology as infidels, whether they be Christian or Muslim.

again the same pattern: Wahhabi Sunni muslim terrorists, supported by Saudis and US government, kill Christians. That's exactly how Wahhabi Sunnis "protesters" act in Syria, and previously did the same in Bosnia and Kosovo, with direct NATO support

Jack, don't be so foolish as to comment on something when you have no knowledge of demographics. 'again the same pattern: Wahhabi Sunni muslim terrorists, supported by Saudis and US government, kill Christians'. This attack took place in the northern nigerian city of kano, which is majority muslim. So what do you think about this! I can guarantee that most dead will be muslims. If you see all major events as black and white you are particularly naive and your description really gives that away. Just on a seperate note, not anywhere in any islam is the murder of civilians allowed, so how these people can justify these actions in their own minds makes me wonder. May Allah guide us all.

Religion Of Peace strikes again. Sorry to hear that so many people are loosing their lives because other people believe it's their religious duty to wage the war until Nigeria and the rest of the world will be under Islamic rule.

Don't expect the West to react. This is just ordinary Christians being murdered, not Libyan and Egyptian freedom-thirsty islamic revolutionaries for whom Sarkozy and Obama spare no energy to help them in their heroic fight for global desert and destruction.
