Luke Allnutt is the Editor-in-Chief of RFE/RL’s English-language website since 2007. He has worked at RFE/RL since 2003. In 1999, Luke co-founded ‘Transitions Online (TOL)’ – an internet publication providing analysis on the regions of Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet states. In 1998 he moved to Prague, Czech Republic to pursue a career in journalism. As a freelance journalist, Luke concentrated on political reporting, opinion and analysis. In recent years, his focus has shifted primarily to reports on global technological advances and foreign policy. In his RFE/RL blog,
