History

  • Radio Azadliq was established in 1953, broadcasting on SW to the Soviet Socialist Republic of Azerbaijan.
  • Radio Azadliq launched its award-winning website in 2004. It is now one of the most popular news websites in Azerbaijan.
  • In 2007, Radio Azadliq began broadcasting on FM 101.7 to Baku.
