RFE/RL's Documentation Department is seeking a bright and energetic candidate to work as a Documentation Assistant.

Reporting to the Supervisor of the Documentation Unit, which is part of our HR Department, you will assist our specialist staff in processing documentation requirements for non-Czech staff members and accompanying dependents, including their initial applications and subsequent annual renewals of long-term resident visas and work permits.

Duties include:

- Submit applications (and pick up approved applications) for work permits in person at the Labor Office (new permits and bi-annual extentions);

- Deliver to and pick-up documents from the Foreign Police Department (e.g. visa applications, official invitations, new passports, registrations of long-term visas, and address change notices);

- Apply for police criminal records;

- Provide delivery service as needed , e.g. to notary public office to obtain powers of attorney, to translators office to bring/pick up documents for translation;

Qualifications:

Education: Completion of secondary school

Special Skills: Must be well-mannered conduct, culturally sensitive

Languages: Native Czech. Professional fluency in English required
