Eurasian Heads Of State Meet At SCO Summit
Heads of state of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries (Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan) held a meeting at the grouping's summit in Bishkek, along with leaders from observer countries Afghanistan, Iran, and Mongolia and delegations from India and Pakistan. Regional security issues, including the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the crisis in Syria were high on the agenda. (RFE/RL's Kyrgyz Service)
