Independent TV Channels Stripped of Frequencies

In a development suggesting the further deterioration of media freedom in Ukraine, two independent television channels were stripped of their frequencies this week. Editors of one of the channels allege that the court decision was influenced by Ukraine's Security Service chief, who is an owner of a rival media holding group.
