Outrage In Minsk As Lukashenka Claims Victory

As elections results rolled in on December 19, RFE/RL writer at large James Kirchick joined thousands of Belarusian oppositionists as they gathered in downtown Minsk to protest against President Alyaksandr Lukashenka. The protest was brutally broken up by police, and hundreds were arrested.
