As the world commemorates the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe, RFE/RL takes a look at that conflict's enduring legacies in its broadcast areas. From unresolved territorial claims to festering ethnic, political, ideological, and economic disputes, the war continues to loom large from Central Europe to the Russian Far East.
