Pepsi, Trump and prayers - Hasidic pilgrims celebrate Jewish New Year in Uman

In Uman, Cherkasy region, thousands of pilgrims from all over the world came to celebrate the Jewish New Year - Rosh Hashanah. Here, the grave of Reb Nachman is located - the main prophet and founder of Breslov Hasidic movement. This year up to 30 thousand of pilgrims from different countries (mostly from Israel) came to Uman, according to police.

Pilgrims celebrate with a bliss in order to have a successful year, according to the traditions. Dancing, prayers and loud music are heard on the eve of the celebration of Rosh Hashanah, before the first star appears on the sky. Later Shabbat starts and it is a time of prayer.
