Kyrgyz Probe Faults Uzbek Leaders, Interim Government Over Ethnic Violence
Kyrgyzstan's national commission for investigating the causes of the deadly ethnic clashes between Uzbeks and Kyrgyz in the southern part of the country last June has released its findings. The report says several top officials in the provisional government, some of whom still hold posts in the current government, failed to fulfill their duties at the time and so allowed the situation to become even worse.
