RFE/RL has compiled the rankings of countries in our broadcast region according to various nongovernmental groups on respective levels of political, media, and economic freedom, as well as levels of perceived corruption, ecological "happiness," and prosperity.
Countries ranked include: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
