Lecha Bogatyryov, 38, is accused in the shooting murder of Chechen refugee Umar Israilov on the streets of Vienna on January 13, 2009. Israilov had told the Western press about torture, murder, and kidnapping in Chechnya, allegedly in the name of, and sometimes with the participation of, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. Bogatyryov managed to flee Austria and is believed to be in Russia.
