Car Bomb Explodes Outside Baghdad Hospital


9 November 2004 -- A car bomb exploded outside one of Baghdad's main hospitals in the southwest of the Iraqi capital late yesterday, causing casualties.

An official at the Yarmuk hospital said a car bomb exploded at the gate of the emergency department.

Patients, staff, and guards were reported among the victims.
