The woman identified herself as Sajida al-Rishawi from the Iraqi Anbar province town of Al-Ramadi.
"[My name is] Sajida al-Rishawi. I am an Iraqi citizen, born in 1970, living in Al-Ramadi."
She said in the broadcast on 13 November that she had entered Jordan from Iraq with her husband and two other men.
She said her husband detonated his bomb at a wedding celebration on 9 November at the Radisson Hotel, but that her explosives failed to detonate. She said she then ran out of the hotel.
The broadcast included pictures showing her wearing what appeared to be a bomb belt.
It was not clear under what circumstances Rishawi gave the confession.
Officials said Rishawi is believed to be the sister of a dead Al-Qaeda in Iraq operative.
The Iraqi Al-Qaeda group has claimed responsibility for the blasts at three Amman hotels that killed 57 people, including three Iraqi bombers. Most of those who died were Jordanians.
