Bosnian Convicted In U.S. Over Srebrenica Role


A Bosnian Muslim woman visits the grave of a relative killed in Srebrenica (file photo) (epa) July 12, 2006 – A U.S. court today convicted a Bosnian immigrant on charges he concealed his role as an executioner in the 1995 Srebrenica massacre of Muslims in Bosnia in order to get into the United States.


Prosecutors said Marko Boskic, 41, admitted he was in a Serb military unit and helped execute 1,200 Muslims.


Boskic faces up to 10 years in prison and possibly deportation.
