Brezhnev's Son-In-Law Dies


Leonid Brezhnev's daughter, Galina, died in 1998 at the age of 69 (ITAR-TASS) August 30, 2006 -- Igor Kio, the former husband of Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev's only daughter, has died, aged 62.


Kio's marriage to Galina Brezhneva was shortlived, but Kio's fame was lifelong.


The 62-year-old illusionist was a star of both the television screen and the circus ring in the Soviet era. The son of a well-known magician, Kio first performed in the circus at the age of five.
