Seven U.S. Troops Killed In Iraq Violence


U.S. troops in Iraq (file photo) (CTK) November 3, 2006 -- Seven U.S. soldiers were killed today in Iraq. Three were killed by a roadside bomb in eastern Baghdad.

Four were killed by "enemy action" in Iraq's western Anbar province. The military also announced that a soldier had died in a non-combat related incident north of Baghdad.


October was the deadliest month for the U.S. military in Iraq in nearly two years, with at least 105 killed.
