Warsaw, 29 April 1997 (RFE/RL) - Poland's Government today announced that Russia has accepted a proposal to open two new border crossings between Poland and the Kaliningrad region.
The crossing points are to be opened in Poland's Olsztyn region and in the Suwalki region. Currently, there are four road-and-rail border crossing between Poland and Kaliningrad.
