Iran Imprisons Kurdish Activist


Kurdish human rights activist Mohammad Sedigh Kabudvand has been sentenced to 11 years in an Iranian prison for activity "against national security," Radio Farda reports.

Kabudvand is a journalist and also a member of Iran's Kurdistan Human Rights organization.

He's been in jail since July 2007 and is reportedly suffering from health problems.
