At Least Six Dead In Russian Refinery Fire

At least six people have been killed after a fire swept through an oil refinery in Russia.

Officials in Krasnoyarsk Krai in Russia's Siberia region said on June 16 that seven people were hospitalized with injuries and that two others are missing.

The fire at the 140,000-barrel-per-day Achinsk refinery broke out on June 15 as a result of a gas explosion.

The refinery is owned by state oil giant Rosneft.

Based on reporting by Interfax, Reuters, and AFP
