Georgia's Former Ambassador To Russia Found Dead


Police say Georgia's former ambassador to Russia, Erosi Kitsmarishvili, was found dead at his home in Tbilisi on July 15.

Media reports in Georgia say investigators found a pistol near Kitsmarishvili's body.

Police say investigations have been launched into a possible suicide.

Kitsmarishvili, 49, was Georgia's Ambassador to Russia in 2008. In 2004, he led Georgia's Trade and Industry Chamber.

Kitsmarishvili was the founder and owner of Georgia's leading television channel "Rustavi 2."
