Pakistani security officials say a suspected U.S. drone strike has targeted alleged militants in the country's northwestern tribal areas.
At least three suspected militants were reported killed in the September 30 strike in the town of Datta Khel in North Waziristan.
The area is dominated by fighters of warlords Hafiz Gul Bahadur and the Haqqani network.
Both groups are known to carry out attacks against NATO troops in neighboring Afghanistan.
It was the second drone strike in as many days. A strike on September 29 in the tribal areas killed three militants.
