Sakharov Prize Shines Spotlight On Top Human Rights Activists


Two Yazidi women who escaped the clutches of Islamic State militants are among the contenders for this year's prestigious Sakharov Prize. The human rights award is named after famed Soviet dissident Andrei Sakharov and is handed out annually by the European Parliament.
