Lukashenka Pardons U.S. Lawyer Imprisoned In Belarus

A year ago, during a diplomatic dispute with the United States, the government of Belarus jailed Russian-born U.S. lawyer Emanuel Zeltser for alleged industrial espionage and carrying forged documents. Today, however, Minsk's relations with the West are improving, and Belarusian President Alyaksandr Lukashenka pardoned Zeltser in an effort to normalize relations with the United States. More
