MONDAY, October 15:

Armenia/Russia: Armenian National Security Council Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan visits Moscow.

Azerbaijan: The 20th Meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) to be held in Baku.

EU: Luxembourg hosts an EU foreign ministers meeting to discuss the latest developments in Belarus, Georgia, Iran, and Syria.

EU/Georgia: EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fuele meets with Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze in Luxembourg.

Iran/Azerbaijan: Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi visits Baku to attend a meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).

Kyrgyzstan: OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Knut Vollebaek arrives for a working visit in Kyrgyzstan (to October 18).

TUESDAY, October 16:

Azerbaijan: Leaders of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Pakistan, and Turkey attend the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) summit in Baku.

Balkans: International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) starts Goran Hadzic’s trial and Radovan Karadzic’s defense case in The Hague.

EU/Croatia/Serbia: The European Medal of Tolerance to be awarded to Croatian President Ivo Josipovic and former Serbian President Boris Tadic in Brussels.

Uzbekistan/France: Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov visits Paris.

UN: World Food Day.


WEDNESDAY, October 17:
