Blast In Peshawar Kills Five

PESHAWAR, Pakistan (Reuters) -- A suicide bomber killed five people in the Pakistani city of Peshawar today when he set off his explosives at a checkpost on a busy road, police said.

The blast apparently happened at a security force checkpost on the Mall Road, which is also near the city's military district, one of the residents said.
